When I write here, I leave a virtual fingerprint of my soul.
I write to support.
I write to encourage.
I write to educate.
I write to inspire.
I write to make laughter and smiles and sometimes tears.
Above all, I write because to me, it is a powerful tool to mend my spirit.
When the words flow freely from a place in my soul that is raw and honest, I allow myself to heal. I have learned on this journey that there is so much power contained in my words and your words. When you all come here and stop to read that piece of me I am blessed that you all want to accompany me on this ride. When you leave comments of support and encouragement, you touch my heart more than you know.
I am humbled.
Today, my dear friend Kelly at City Mom, recognized me for my writing. Every Friday, she will be featuring a Fabulous Female that has inspired her. Her words have blown me away and I am left completely speechless. She is a wonderful, wonderful strong spirit herself and if you’re not following her already, you totally should. She is one of the sweetest people you will meet in this bloggy world. Her writing comes from the soul and you will be immediately captivated.
So please head on over to City Mom and join me and Kelly today. Again, Kelly, I cannot thank you enough for this honour. I am truly blessed to have met you in this bloggy world.
I also want you to meet my dear friend Pamela at 2 Much Testosterone. Pamela is an awesome friend of mine. She writes from a place that is raw with passion. She is a true fighter and a wonderful spirit. She’ll make you laugh till coke shoots out of your nose and she’ll touch your heart with her journey to beat postpartum depression. Last week she graced me with her “Spermie Soldier of The Week” and I can’t tell you how awesomely funny the award is. Check it out. Pamela rocks mah socks.
Both Kelly and Pamela have made me humbled. Sometimes I forget that when I write, people are reading and listening and connecting with my words.
Thank you both from the bottom of my soul.
PS. There have been other bloggy friends who have given me awards over the last few months. You have not been forgotten. I appreciate you all paying it forward and I will be paying it forward soon too and giving you the credit you all deserve. I’m catching up on all of this now that the holidays are done. Know that I appreciate every single one of you.

Great awards so very deserved. You are an amazing woman,
mother and friend Kimberly! Keep up the great writing!!

Aww, now I am flattered and humbled…there’s so much love
going around over these invisible wires that I’m all emotional too.
I love being a part of this community and I am so, so happy that
women are out there helping other women! Especially on topics like
PPD. More and more of us need to talk, share and get the word out
there. You’re a hero for doing so!

It’s always inspiring to be going along on what feels like
your ordinary way and realize that you have inadvertently touched
someone in a way that you never imagined. Congrats on the
recognition!
