Punching 2013 In The Throat

I think that we can all agree that 2012 was not my year.

Gallbladder tumors, surgeries, and pill mishaps oh my.

It seemed like every step I took in the right direction, I was met with a kick to my taco.

I have never been kicked in the taco but I can imagine it would hurt.

(For those of you who don’t get this analogy, taco = vagina.)

This is why I’m deciding to punch 2013 in the throat before it even starts.

Next year is going to be fabulous.

Fabulous doesn’t come easy.

There is a lot of planning involved.

All I can say is that there will be a lot of dates with myself.

Like getting massages and getting the facial hair ripped off my face before I grow a uni-brow.

Perhaps I’ll fit in my family and friends somewhere since fabulous can’t be done alone.

Like scheduling Shawn to do the laundry and my boy child to pick up his ever loving toys with sharp edges off of the carpet.

And there will be lots of goals.

Like going back to school.

Yes, I do have some serious aspirations in between all that self loving.

I really want to push myself this year.

I’m going to do it…

Right after I finish this 5th short bread cookie.

2013 is going to be fabulous and since I am a planner, I need something to keep me motivated to stay on track.
